Khmer Comedy exist a long time ago since before Cambodian family has TV set at home. In the past normally people need to come to the event such as Bon Katen or the festival in the village where they have Lakhorn Basak or performance in order to watch it.
But nowadays it is different from the past since each family and house in the countryside especially for those who live in the city own a TV set or some have more than one. The new technology is amazing to keep people up to date with what happening around especially to spend the entertainment with family watching Khmer Comedy on TV.
Through out the week among all the Cambodian TV station which they make different schedule in showing the comedian shows for viewers. Not to mention about the weekend program which broadcast live performance of Comedy really attract thousand and thousands of people to watch it and home with many of them coming to see at the studio such as at CTN in Russey Keo.
For most entertainment, most of the TV station they would like to include this comedian show because they know many people are waiting for it and really want to keep an eyes on.
Just like the comedy called, “Moha Boros Mout Tip” is a funny performance by young adult but they are have skill in using words to make people laugh. You have many other stories to see which is similar to this ones with another group on different channels in Cambodia.
Speaking the language in the performance is the way the Khmer comedian is happening because the action only sometime won’t really work. So make sure you don’t forget to tune in to the weekend live show or if you don’t really have time for it you can also watch the archive program on internet as well.
